30-year-old crisp packet washed up on beach

A 30-year-old Tudor Crisps packed has been found washed up at Budle Bay '“ but with little signs of decay.
It was discovered by a Coast Care volunteer and shows how long some litter can remain a part of the environment without decomposing, potentially harming wildlife in the process.
The packet of gammon flavour crisps has a best before date of October 1988.
