Warkworth Parish Council round-up: Erosion, flooding, parking and Magna Carta
The AONB is interested in supporting the parish council’s concerns.
• Coun John Hobrough said that Warkworth is on a list for parking support, after attending an AONB meeting. It is hoped talks can take place early next year to discuss help with a transport plan.

Hide Ad• Leaf and gully clearing has been carried out on Station Road, following complaints about flooding. The clerk is to find out what the future plans are for the area.
• Talks are on going about the possibility of planting a Magna Carta King John Parliament oak tree, to honour the village’s connection to the historic document.
• Two Kilmarnock willows, which grow to a height of about two metres, will be purchased and planted at The Butts at an appropriate planting time.
