MEN and women of all ages across the borough are being encouraged to undertake karate at Wallsend Community Centre.
The sessions run every Thursday from 6pm to 7pm and are said to be an ideal way to keep fit, and develop self defence skills, as well as learning the various skills and techniques involved in Karate.

Wallsend reporter Hayley Revell took part in a session to learn first hand what it involves.
