Canny little event aims to bring a touch of fun

AN EVENT is taking place in Whitley Bay which aims to bring a touch of community back to the town.

Team V Whitley Bay is hosting a ‘Canny Little Shindig’ on Sunday, March 3, at The Avalon Bar in South Parade.

It will take place from 1pm to 5pm and features a host of events.

The free event, which encourages people to ‘make time for your mind’, will feature free food from around the world, plus free cupcakes.

There will also be Zines from ‘Canny Little Library’ and visitors can take part in a range of arts and crafts workshops during the event.
