Rotary thanks for donations

ON December 20 and 21 last year the Rotary Club of North Shields arranged for Santa Claus and his sleigh to visit Tesco North Shields and the collection on behalf of Help for Heroes Fund raised £2,200 from the very generous customers shopping at Tesco.

On behalf of the Rotary Club I wish to thank the shoppers for being so considerate and generous is their support of this good cause.

I also want to give a heartfelt thank you to Tesco management for allowing us to collect in their store and to the staff of Tesco for their help and assistance over the two days we collected in their entrance hall.

Again thank you all for helping us to help the Help for Heroes Fund.
