Home from home is theme for the week
I WANTED to let your readers know about a fantastic opportunity to find out about the benefits of using registered childcare providers that are based in the home.
This month I will be celebrating National Childminding Week (from June 13 to 20) with the other 45,000 members of the National Childminding Association. The week, which has the theme Home From Home, will see childminders and nannies holding events in your local area to highlight the work they do to support children and families locally.
Research shows that young children benefit from the personalised care and attention that a childminder or nanny can provide in the home.
As part of National Childminding Week childminders and nannies will be visiting local schools, children's centres, drop-in groups and local community groups to tell as many parents as possible about this fantastic childcare choice.
A recent survey from NCMA found that the satisfaction level in parents using registered childminders is very high so if you are thinking about childcare options, or would like more information about how to become a registered childminder or nanny visit www.ncma.org.uk
