New look library service set to reopen for schools

A LIBRARY service is preparing to move to a new venue.

The Schools Library Service is moving from Wallsend Library to a new showroom at the White Swan Centre in Killingworth.

The service will close at 5pm on Saturday, March 2, and reopen at 9am on Monday, March 18.

Opening times will be 9am to 5.30pm on Mondays and Fridays; 9am to 7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays; and 9am to 5pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

A drop-in opening evening for existing and potential subscribers is on Thursday, April 18, from 3.30pm to 7pm.
