Busy time for Wallsend Air Cadets

AIR Cadets from 1151 (Wallsend) Squadron had a busy weekend working at a helicopter drop-in event.
Helicopters from around the north east were in attendance from private and public organisations for the North East Air Museum's first helicopter drop-in event in Sunderland.

Cadets were involved in aero modelling, car parking and setting up cockpit displays for visitors.

On Sunday the cadets were asked to provide a demonstration of the museum's Bofors 40mm anti-aircraft gun under the supervision of Army Cadet staff.

The next helicopter drop in will be at the North East Air Museum is scheduled for June 28 and June 29.
