Car passenger rescued from rocks in North Shields

A PASSENGER in a car which ended up on the rocks at the Fish Quay has been rescued by fire crews and taken to hospital.
The incident happened just after 5.20pm on Tuesday, May, 20 in North Shields.

The car had careered off the car park and landed on the rocks below.
Fire crews from Whitley Bay stabilised the vehicle using lines and blocks. The driver was unhurt.
