NORTH Tyneside Primary Care Trust's healthy living centre staff are preparing to take part in a two day challenge to raise money for servicemen and women who have been wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The staff from Dudley, Meadowell, Battle Hill and Moor Park healthy living centres will be completing the coast to coast run – 140 miles in total – by relay over two days starting June 21 at Workington and finishing on June 22 at Tynemouth in aid of
Help for Heroes.

Health trainer Paul Jasper said: "All gym instructors have been working hard not only training but raising sponsorship and we have been overwhelmed by the generosity of all who have sponsored us.

"The money that will be raised will make a huge difference to the brave servicemen and women who have been wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan and their families."

The charity Help for Heroes was set up to raise money and awareness for servicemen and women who have been harmed by the ongoing conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
