THE North Tyneside branch of a major tyre and MOT company has been made an example of by its company as one the best outlets.
North Eastern Tyre and Autocare, based on Middle Engine Lane turns over more than 30 per cent more general servicing and MOT work a month than others in the group, as well as reaching targets on tyre and exhaust work.

Roger Griggs, retail director
of the North Eastern Tyre and Autocare Group said: "Silverlink is a relatively new site for us, having opened five years ago, but the team here has built up a great customer base which is growing every week.

"No longer are we focusing on just tyres and exhausts and it is this outlet .

"That is truly excelling in the full autocare range, now clocking up at least 200 services/MOTs a month.

"Well done to the team on not only this, but on maintaining a great relationship with other garages in the area."

General manager Norman Blackburn leads the 16 strong team at Silverlink.

He told the News Guardian: "It is very flattering to be picked out for best practice by the company.

"We have a great atmosphere here and it reflects in our service to both retail and wholesale customers.

"We have exciting times ahead with investment in the next few months allowing us to offer even more services."
