Embroiders' guild annual regional day

THIS Saturday The North East Region of Embroiders' Guild will hold its annual regional day entitled 'Threads Along the Tyne'.
The day is to be co-hosted by three of the 13 branches of the Embroiders' Guild in the North East including North Shields, Whitley Bay and Newcastle.

The event will take place at Emmanuel College in Gateshead at 10am and will involve a welcome by Regional Chairman Joy Bradshaw.

The day will also include two guest lecturers.

The day, which is expected to finish at around 4pm will include displays and exhibitions, competitions, a raffle and a lunchtime forum where there will be a chance to discuss plans and ideas for Young Embroiderers and exchange news and views on Friends of Embroidery.

All members of the Embroiders Guild are welcome, including those from outside the region.

Anyone who is not a member of the Guild but would like to find out more is also welcome to attend.
