Pupils oversee skate park work

YOUNGSTERS have been given a first hand look at a new facility aimed just for them.
Pupils from Coquet Park First School, in Whitley Bay, spent a couple of hours being shown round the site of the new skate park being built on the Links.
Construction is well under way on the facility which is the next part of the £60m of Whitley Bay's seafront regeneration.
The pupils were excited and pleased to see the work on the park, which is due to open later this summer.
