A CANCER organisation has received a donation thanks to a Rotary club's continued support programme. The Rotary Club of Monkseaton Centenary, under Rotary's Partnering with Other Organisations programme, presented a cheque for £500 to The Institute of Cancer Research.
Presenting the cheque, president-elect Tahir Rashid said the institute is one of the world's leading cancer research organisations and is internationally renowned for the quality of its science.

Sarah Healey thanked the Rotary club for their continued support, which was part of the £165,000 they had received in the last two years from worldwide clubs.
