A COMPANY with two offices in North Shields has expanded its board with two internal appointments.
Rosewood Packaging has appointed Paul Evans as group operations director and Susan Millican as group administration director following the company's growth in the last ten years, in particular the last four years.

Paul, who lives near Chester-le-S
treet, has been managing director at the Gateshead site for 17 years. He takes on responsibility for the management of all corrugated and timber packaging production at Gateshead, North Shields and Cumbernauld, Scotland.

Susan, from Morpeth, brings to the board more than 20 years experience within systems and process development.

An MBA graduate, she was logistics and shipping manager at Transgenomic where she managed the company's European warehousing operations before joining Rosewood in 2006 as group administration manager.

Stephen Lord, group managing director, said: "We are delighted to welcome Paul and Susan onto the board.

"They have both demonstrated a high level of commitment to Rosewood and their loyalty, business skills and valuable industry experience will be an asset to our decision making and strategic planning for the business."

Rosewood Packaging was first established in 1953 and is a leading member of the packaging industry, employing more than 150 staff across the north east and Cumbernauld.
