Tyres and car stolen in £14,000 raid

POLICE are appealing for information after £14,200 worth of goods were stolen during a burglary in Wallsend on Wednesday, September 17.
The burglary took place at ATS Tyres in High Street East between 5.45pm and 6.36pm and it is believed thieves forced their way into the rear of the premises.

They made off with a silver VW Polo car, registration NA05 VOM, worth £9,200 and 50 tyres.

It is believed a white van was used to remove the tyres.

Wallsend Neighbourhood Inspector Mick Todd said: "Police appealing for anyone who may have seen or heard anything."
