MEMBERS of North Tyneside's disability forum enjoyed taking part in a Weakest Link event held in Shiremoor.
The game mimicked the format of the cult BBC show The Weakest Link, and included forum members of all ages, and several staff members.

The 12 participants were whittled down to a final between the Blind Society's young member Jillian Grant and the newest staff member, Elspeth Kirkwood.

The eventual winner was a delighted Jillian who said: "I fought off all these golden oldies and showed what the youngsters can do."

She was rewarded with a prize of vouchers whilst the rest left 'with nothing'.

To get involved with the forum, or for information on future events, phone or fax (0191) 200 8570 or email: info@ntdf.co.uk.
