A BOROUGH-based music act is still on a high after performing at the Olympics.
Anna Leigh and the Kings, based in Cullercoats, played at the Olympic Park as part of the London 2012 celebrations.
They were among only four acts from the north east who were chosen for the main stage.
Producers from the BBC1 show The Voice also visited lead singer Anna Leigh Middleton’s studio – Anna Leigh Vocal Studios – to hear six students as they were looking for potential talent for the next series.
Anna Leigh, the only speech level singing teacher in the north east, is also celebrating after landing a supporting role in the BBC drama Paradise, which is set in the 1800s.
