Matt and Kim make welcome return after two years away
BROOKLYN based duo Matt and Kim make a welcome return to the music scene with Grand, their second album that offers tunes you can't help but be drawn to.
It has been two years since the duo's last offering, that brought us Yea Yeah and 5k, and the result is an album that takes the band's songwriting to the next level and shows just how far Matt and Kim have come since their debut.
From the anthemic opening track Daylight to the beautiful ballad Turn This Boat Around, this album is unique, fresh and offers some irresistibly catchy songs.
I Wanna, is a great pop-type song, and new single Lessons Learned is another great track that offers powerful melodies - and a big shock at the end of the video!
But it is the instrumental Cinders towards the end of the album that is my favourite song of this unique collection.
