Pianist kicks off new series

A TOP Chinese pianist is in the north this week as part of his first ever visit to Britain.

Professor Yuan Sheng from Beijing, who is China’s premier interpreter of Bach, will be visiting North Shields to play the first recital of the Master Musicians 2012 series at Christ Church on Friday, February 10, at 7.30 p.m. with a programme of Bach, Chopin and Brahms.
