A FASHION event is being held as council chiefs get involved in the build up to the Royal wedding.
‘The Story of the White Wedding’, hosted by the History Wardrobe, will take place at North Shields Library, Northumberland Square, on Tuesday, March 22, at 7pm.
The event will celebrate the traditional white wedding from the early 1800s to the 1970s, with gowns, photographs and accessories.
The library is also inviting residents to bring along their own wedding photographs.

The History Wardrobe talks were created to teach history through fashion.
