And when the London Community Gospel Choir's new CD arrived on my desk I couldn't wait to listen to it.

Recorded at Abbey Road Studios Glorious mixes classic songs like Let It Be, and Hallelujah with some of the most enduring inspirational anthems such as Amazing Grace and We Shall Overcome.

Now That We Found Love is a great up-beat song that is sung beautifully, but my favourite track on the album is the incredible Down In The River To Pray, which is a really moving song.

Abide With Me is another incredible song that really showcases the soaring gospel harmonies of the group.

Rev Basil Meade founded the choir in 1982, and I for one am glad he did because this is a great collection of songs that are sung beautifully.

Glorious features the perfect blend of unique versions of popular songs such as Swing Low Sweet Chariot, as well as amazing contemporary anthems and pop songs like U2's One.
