The much-anticipated new album from the indie rockers follows on from the success of their self-titled debut in 2004 and 2006's Empire.

The Leicestershire group, who are currently on tour with Oasis, make an impressive return to form with an album that blows all their previous work out of the water.

Fast Fuse is one of the album highlights with a catchy chorus and a great bassline making this an almost iconic Kasabian track that you can't help but sing along to.

Where Did All The Love Go? shows a softer side to the five-piece but still manages to fit alongside the brash guitar rock that fans have come to expect from the band.

American Rosario Dawson duets on the glorious West Ryder Silver Bullet, but it is the wonderful Vlad The Impaler, whose 80s style video features the Mighty Boosh's Noel Fielding as Vlad, that is a rock anthem you can't help but love.

Current single Fire is another album highlight that is as uncomplicated as it is brilliant, adding more than a pinch of electro to the mix to create a track with real staying power.

For me this is Kasabian's greatest album to date, even if the guys are claiming it was written as the soundtrack to an imaginary film.
