FOLLOWING on from the success of comeback single Terra Firma, Young Knives have hurled themselves into 2008 with their second album Superabundance.
In typical fashion, Young Knives have delivered a single that seamlessly blends multi-layered pop harmonies with bitingly intelligent lyrics.

Superabundance is a stark contrast to the bands' earlier album, and the songs have a much more indie-pop feel.

The first single off the album, Up All Night, is a tale of the mysterious media types the group has come across in the past 18 months.

This single is just a small taster of the second album from the band, the hugely successful follow up to their Mercury music prize nominated debut album, Voices of Animals & Men.

Proving their adaptability and freshness, whilst still maintaining the aspects of their personality loved by all, Young Knives are set to cement their position as the greatest British pop band of our generation with this huge second LP.

Superabundance is a vast progression from their previous work - produced by Tony Doogan (Super Furry Animals, Mogwai, Belle & Sebastian, Dirty Pretty Things) in Glasgow last summer, this body of work has more emphasis on pop whilst remaining true to the band's entirely British roots.

To back the release of the album, the band will be performing three headline shows as part of the NME Brats, including London Astoria, as well as an Off the Beaten Track Tour, where Henry, House and Ollie will be visiting a myriad towns never previously performed in.

International dates, including a stint in Hong Kong, yet more triumphant British festivals dates and a fuller national UK tour will follow throughout the remainder of 2008.
