A borough business park has been recognised again for its commitment to corporate responsibility.

Longbenton-based Quorum Business Park received reaccreditation of its prestigious Big Tick status in Business in the Community’s (BITC) responsible business awards.

It was named overall winner of the Ways2Work category at the 2012 BITC Awards for Excellence.

Quorum’s commuter centre manager received the latest award from Peter Lambert, BITC deputy chief executive.

She said: “We pride ourselves on our creative and proactive approach to working practices so being reaccredited with the Big Tick is testament to all the hard work.

“Quorum invests heavily in the on-site facilities to continually look to improving employees’ morale and wellbeing and it is important that the changes we make also reflect in the local community.”
