An artistic pupil helped spread some Christmas cheer after winning a design competition.
Amber Cramman, of St Columba’s RC Primary School in Wallsend, won the first Christmas Card Competition organised by North Tyneside Learning Trust.
The ten-year-old’s colourful design was selected by the competition’s sponsor, Sidekick Office Products, for its bold design, attention to detail and warm festive scene.
The card will now feature on the Trust’s Christmas e-card and will be sent to more than 1,000 contacts, including all schools in North Tyneside.
Amber won a Beamish Annual Family Pass, presented to her during a special assembly along with a certificate.
Chloe Mortimer, partnership co-ordinator at the Trust, said: “The quality of the entries was very high and everyone was very impressed with the creativity and artistic skills of the children.”
Ellie Dunn, 12, from Churchill Community College, received the runner up prize for her 3D pop up Christmas tree design.
