A BRAVE care home worker took to the skies to help raise money for the elderly people she looks after.

Care assistant Anna Hedworth leapt from a plane in a tandem sky dive to enable residents at Earsdon Grange Care Home to take part in more activities and days out.

Anna, who raised just over £800, said: “It was a fantastic day, I would like to thank all staff at Peterlee Parachute Centre, especially my tandem partner who supported me through my experience.”
