A Whitley Bay woman has been appointed to a new role supporting professional ladies.

Antonia Brindle is the new regional director for Forward Ladies, which helps women unlock their potential.

Representing Newcastle and the North East, she will be one of three regional directors working alongside managing director and owner of Forward Ladies, Griselda Togobo.

Antonia, who runs her own PR company, said: “Forward Ladies is well established in other parts of the country and while there are networking opportunities for women in business in the region, I believe being part of a national network gives Forward Ladies a different offering.

“I am delighted to take the role and look forward to growing the membership and helping women nurture and grow their businesses.

“We have many outstanding business women in the region and to know there is a support network where we can both relax a little and do good business is important.”

Griselda said: “We are delighted to welcome Antonia. She will be responsible for working with women and businesses in the region, encouraging membership and creating great opportunities for women to learn, share, network and celebrate success.”

“We hold monthly power business breakfasts but we would love to see more inspirational business events for women in the region.”
