A group of 17 intrepid riders have taken part in a 140-mile Hadrian’s Ride organised by Cobalt’s Hills N Hangovers team.
The riders completed the challenge over two days, starting in Silloth, in Cumbria, and battling the weather to arrive back in Tynemouth on Sunday afternoon.
The Hills N Hangovers group organise regular rides and challenges for Cobalt workers, family and friends.
Tony Parker, Hills N Hangovers group organiser, said: “I get a massive kick from seeing these private trips grow and grow in numbers.
“I have organised various day rides, epic weekenders and have recently got involved in organising mountain bike weekenders
“It’s become a passion of mine to encourage the pursuit of cycling, whether it be commuting to work or as a leisure pursuit.”
