A North Tyneside-based logistics firm has scooped an award in recognition of its outstanding performance.

Ramage Transport, part of Europe’s largest and fastest growing palletised freight network Palletways, has received a coveted Platinum Club Award for delivering fantastic levels of service and operational excellence.

The awards are organised every year by Palletways to recognise proficient members in its UK network.

Robin Ramage, depot principal at Ramage Transport, said: “It is an honour to receive this award and we couldn’t be more proud.

“It is a tribute to the hard work put in by all of our team and sends a clear message to customers that they can expect a first class delivery service from us.”

Luis Zubialde, managing director at Palletways (UK) Ltd, added: “We would like to congratulate Ramage Transport for being one of the top performers in our UK network.

“Providing customers with a fast, reliable and efficient service is our top priority, and the Platinum Club Awards highlight the dedication of our members to meeting the very highest standards.”

Ramage Transport joins an elite group of 22 UK transport companies who have demonstrated the highest levels of performance and received the award.

Palletways consists of 400 depots across Europe of which over 100 are in the UK.

Its distribution networks are made up of independent transport companies who share each other’s resources to deliver consignments of palletised freight faster and more cost effectively than ever before.
