A RAPIDLY growing business is looking to create new jobs as it enjoys the demands of its service.
Unite Communications – a voice solutions, IT support and telephony and broadband provider – has taken on two new members of staff to help with the company’s growth, with plans to recruit more over the next 12 months.
The company, based at the Newcastle Business Village in Benton, has employed Ben Gordon and Luke Elliott as telecoms engineers to cover some of the company’s major new contracts.
Director Lorraine Sykes, who started the company in September 2009, said: “I’m delighted with the way things have gone in our first two years of business.
“We’ve managed to grow our workforce from two to five whilst also recruiting three agents to sell our services, with plans to recruit more in the north east and further afield in the coming months.
“We hope to continue our growth both locally and nationally whilst maintaining the high level of customer service.”
Ben Gordon said: “I’m thrilled to have started working at Unite Communications and look forward to developing relationships with clients both old and new and seeing the business grow in the next year.”
The company is looking to recruit at least ten agents around the country, two admin staff for its head office while aiming to double its turnover – all within the next year.
