A new leather specialist store has opened at a retail facility.

Eduardo Pelle, an Italian leather specialist selling handbags, shoes and boots, is the latest independent store to open at Royal Quays Outlet Centre in North Shields.

The store is owned by Turkish native, Anthony True, who designs the products himself using his creative flair having studied at London College of Fashion.

Anthony, said: “I have always been very creative and interested in fashion and wanted to set up my own store, specialising in handbags.

“Although I grew up in Turkey I am half Italian and fashion runs in my blood. I have two other stores, one in the Metro Centre and the other on Northumberland Street, Newcastle, and I am really looking forward to introducing our offering to Royal Quays.

“Fashion followers will be able to seek out real bargains, we produce handbags, shoes, sheepskin style boots and trendy jackets.

“Royal Quays will be a great location for us and I hope to build up a loyal customer base here.”

Royal Quays centre manager, Judith Ramshaw, said: “Eduardo Pelle is sure to be a hit with fashion followers and it is great to welcome a new independent store to Royal Quays.

“We want to continue to be able to offer the perfect mix of both independent stores that sit well and complement our well-known national brands.

“It is also our aim to be able to attract stores like Eduardo Pelle that we know our customers will enjoy as we continue to offer variety and discounted prices.”
