Restaurants and bars across North Tyneside are preparing to highlight the diverse range of culinary offerings.
North Tyneside Restaurant Week is taking place from March 6 to 12, with a host of venues taking part.
Participating bars and restaurants will give customers the opportunity to have their dining experience at mouth-watering prices, with discounts differing from place to place.
All offers will be available to view at www.ntbrw.co.uk
The week will culminate with the Fish Quay Family Food Festival on March 11 and 12.
The edible extravaganza, held at the Old Low Light, will have an array of food and drink, live entertainment and interactive experiences.
While the main focus is local produce, attendees might also be tempted by the bevy of food from around the world with music performances, some culinary words of wisdom and even a Man vs Food challenge.
It is part of a calendar of events brought to the area by Linskill Centre’s Nineteen32 Events Management team, with an aim of creating a community atmosphere and encouraging tourism in the borough.
