Kings Priory School is bringing back its car boot sales for 2017.

A car boot sale is returning to a Tynemouth school.

Kings Priory School held its first car boot sale of the season earlier this month, with the next one taking place on Saturday.

Taking place in the main school yard off Allendale Place, it is open to all members of the public from 10am to 1pm, with sellers setting up from 9am.

Members of the public are invited to browse and buy for 50p (under 5s go free). The Sixth Form café will be open too, with locals able to enjoy hot sandwiches, freshly-brewed coffee and a range of baked goods on sale.

Jonny Hall, marketing officer at Kings Priory School, said: “The first Car Boot Sale earlier this month was very successful for the time of year.

“We are hoping to kick on and create an even more successful event in the next couple of months that everyone can hopefully get behind.”

There are still a small number of spaces available for each sale and locals can reserve a space for their car for just £10.

Spaces must be prebooked and you cannot just turn up on the day. Sellers should provide their own table.

People can reserve their space by calling (0191) 258 9106 or email events@kps.woodard.co.uk
