The theme of the event was ‘learning for growth’ and the session offered demonstrations of cookery, flower arranging, IT and functional skills, as well as general advice and guidance on adult learning opportunities in North Tyneside.

It took place in the live kitchen located upstairs at Currys PC World.

The event coincided with national Adult Learners Week, which runs from May 12 to 18, with Thursday being designated as National Learning at Work Day.
