Have your say

On behalf of YMCA North Tyneside, I would like to thank everyone who took part in our SleepEasy event on Friday, March 18.

All who took park and generously supported the event helped us achieve our fundraising target of £5,000, along with increasing the profile and issue of homelessness.

We are delighted that 71 people took part on the night. Everyone’s commitment to helping needy people in our community is sincerely appreciated.

Each year YMCA North Tyneside continues to advance its mission of responding to the needs of our community.

We help people of all ages, backgrounds and beliefs to grow in body, mind and spirit.

Through our wide variety of programmes and services, we contribute to the personal and social development of individuals and their families within our community.

As a result we have seen many lives changed for the better.

The primary goal of YMCA North Tyneside is to continue to help young people to reach their full potential as individuals.

With the support from such people as those who gave their time and money towards the event, we will hopefully continue to see improvements in these individuals in how they develop the skills, knowledge and values necessary to take greater control of their lives and to participate more fully in their communities.

Thank you all once again for your generous support of our efforts, which will affect hundreds of people in the borough in a hugely positive way.

We are looking for the event to be bigger and better next year so if you want to know more about SleepEasy 2017 please do get in touch with me.
