Staff at a business park have been enjoying a close shave as they support a campaign raising awareness of men’s health.

Quorum Business Park is raising funds for The Movember Foundation as men are challenged this month to bring back the moustache.

The reception area was transformed into a pop-up barbershop on October 31 with Gosforth-based Wilson Barbershop Co offering free express wet shaves.

Throughout Movember, Quorum’s Mo Quo Team will keep in touch with participants and chart their progress through to a Movember closing party at the end of the month where prizes will be awarded.

Quorum events manager Laura Barber said: “Movember has become a really popular charity – support which is saving and improving the lives of men affected by prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health issues year on year. We’re encouraging staff to spread the word about the challenge so we can engage as much support as possible across the park.

“Men sporting Movember moustaches on Quorum will effectively become ambassadors for the charity throughout November.”
