YOUNG entrepreneurs with an artistic flair have been showcasing their talent to one successful business.

Year 10 students at John Spence High School, in North Shields, have been working with Whitley Bay-based dog supplies shop Ziggy Chews to design hoodies for dogs.

The latest project has seen the pupils look at how the keep pets warm and stylish at the same time.

And Laura Dawson, owner of Ziggy Chews, visited the school along with her dog Ziggy to judge the entries and pick a winner.

Ziggy Chews opened in Park View, Whitley Bay, last year, providing a range of toys, treats, beds, leads, collars and more for dogs.

And last month Laura opened a second store opposite to sell a wide range of dog food.
