A NORTH Tyneside couple are offering a cash reward of £200 to anyone who can help find their missing dog.

It has been about a month since Samba, pictured, their rescue springer spaniel, went missing while on a walk near the Beehive pub near Earsdon.

Despite putting up posters and contacting dog wardens and dog shelters, owners Ray and Beverley Martin, of Hesleyside Road, Wellfield, have not had any word of Samba’s whereabouts.

Beverley said: “We are keeping up our searches but tend to think now that someone has taken Samba.”

Any sightings of Samba can be reported by calling 07780 998611.

Beverley added: “He is a pretty little dog with distinctive black patches which make him look like he’s wearing a Zorro mask, and I can see why someone might be tempted to keep him.”
