Police are appealing for help tracing a woman who has not been seen for over a week.

Geraldene Lee, 26, from Wallsend, has not been seen by her family since Monday, June 6, at 1pm.

Police and her family are concerned for her welfare and are asking Geraldene to get in touch with them.

She is described as white, 5ft 11ins tall, stocky build with straight black hair worn in a ponytail.

Officers are appealing for Geraldene to make contact with them, or anyone who recognises her to call police straightaway.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101, quoting reference 588 09/06/16.
