Festive show hits borough libraries this Christmas

A TOUCH of Christmas magic is being brought to borough libraries.

Seasonal show ‘The Happy Scatty Scarecrow and his Incredibly Cold Feet’ is being performed until Tuesday, December 18.

Suitable for children aged seven and under, the interactive play features characters Happy Scatty Scarecrow, Dolly Dumpling and Greta the French Scary Cow.

The show is being delivered by Monkseaton-based theatre company Gibber who will tell the tale of Christmas on Boggle Farm in the Wiggle Woggle Hills.

Tickets cost £3.50 for children and are free for accompanying adults. They can be booked by calling North Shields Tourist Information Centre on (0191) 200 5895 or at the venue on the day of the show.

Performances will last 40 minutes and take place on the following dates:

• Friday, December 14 – Saville Exchange, 2pm and 4pm;

• Saturday, December 15 – Whitley Bay Library, 11am and 2pm;

• Tuesday, December 18 – Whitley Bay Library, 2pm and 4pm.
