FUNDRAISERS have taken their total for one charity to more than £5,700.
Freemasons from Haven Lodge in North Shields have raised another £855 for St Oswald’s Hospice in Gosforth.
The charity was the focus for fundraising activities during North Shields resident Hugh Macleod’s year in office as Master of Haven Lodge.
And the popular Race Night gave members and the guests a chance to beat the odds.
St Oswald’s again ran out as clear winners.
The money was handed over to hospice staff in Gosforth just before Christmas and will be used by the charity to provide hospice care for adults and children from across the north east.
