GHOSTLY ghouls and spine tingling frights are set to fill Wallsend Parks this week.
On Saturday, October, 29, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, North Tyneside Council will host a free haunted Halloween walk at Richardson Dees Park.
Families can pay a visit to the green space, which will have undergone an eerie transformation, and are encouraged to dress-up and bring their pumpkin lanterns.
People will also be able to meet the Wallsend Wizard performing sorcery, and hear some spooky tales from a professional storyteller in a haunted house. Access is by the North Road entrance.
Also on Saturday, swimmers can search for pumpkins at Waves, Whitley Bay, from 10am to 2pm, and on Sunday, October 30, between 11am and 3pm, Stephenson Railway Museum is hosting Halloween special train rides, including spooky stories and creepy crafts for all the family.
