In ‘They’ve done well out of the new school’ (News Guardian, September 19, John Loughlin bemoans perceived or actual spin and misrepresentations by the Woodard Trust in respect of a lack of past investment in Priory Primary.
Bricks, mortar, slate and railings are important, but of greater value is investment in staff, special needs provision and the children themselves. I suspect that it is this to which David Bilton referred.
The leadership of Priory and its parents consented to the union with Kings and I find it both churlish and mildly irritating to hear more and petty criticism of this vibrant new institution.
Good luck to the new school.
