Community groups from North Tyneside are being invited to attend an event to give them a chance to get advice on funding opportunities.
North Tyneside Voluntary Organisations Development Agency (VODA) is holding a Funding Fair at the Shiremoor Centre on Wednesday, October 23, at 1pm.
The event gives voluntary and community organisations and registered charities working or based in the borough the chance to meet funders on a one-to-one basis, discuss their project ideas and improve their chances of funding success.
Heritage Lottery Fund will be attending the fair, and spaces are still available for those interested to meet representatives and discuss potential applications.
Sports clubs and groups also have the chance to meet with Sport England, and representatives from the Community Foundation.
Sue Reed, funding advisor at VODA said: “This is a rare opportunity for community and voluntary groups and registered charities in North Tyneside to meet with funders and a unique chance to discuss their project ideas.”
