RESIDENTS in the south east of the borough are being invited to have their say on prioritising road and pavement improvements.
Over the past few months, residents and elected members have suggested how to spend the North Shields Area Forum’s £250,000 road and pavements budget.
At a meeting on Wednesday, November 21, the forum will make a final decision on which works it recommends should be carried out during the 2013/14 financial year.
Also up for discussion is North Tyneside Council’s new Waste Strategy.
Meanwhile, North Tyneside Coalition of Disabled People will give an overview of its work and there will be an update from the local neighbourhood policing team.
The meeting takes place at the Saville Exchange, Howard Street, North Shields, and opens from 5.30pm with refreshments.
The formal meeting will run from 6pm to 8pm. For more information call (0191) 643 2828 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
