A holistic community centre and café is celebrating its successful meditation classes ahead of its first birthday in June.

The Energy Rebalance and Meditation Class at Cloud 9 Wellbeing is proving a popular choice for residents who can experience a guided meditation session to relax, breathe and rebalance their energy.

Rachel Robson and Susan Brown opened the Cloud 9 Wellbeing centre in Cullercoats in 2016 to create an old-school community vibe within a positive and friendly environment.

Open to all, young and old, the centre provides a range of holistic treatments including massage, Reiki, meditation, community classes and events, as well as the option to pop in for an intuitive card reading with Susan.

Groups of friends can be catered for with a bespoke well-being retreat day, tailored to experience a little bit of everything at the centre.

The café offers nutritious healthy vegan food and snacks, 100 per cent natural slow-pressed juice, smoothies, relaxing teas or rejuvenating coffee for people passing by or needing some time out.

Susan and Rachel said: “Cloud 9 Wellbeing is a place of love and positivity and we welcome and work with children to the elderly in an environment where they can receive compassion, company and a chat, including those who perhaps suffer from anxiety and mental health issues.

“We are delighted the classes have been so well received and we are looking to expand our holistic treatments further this year.”
