Hundreds flocked to North Shields at the weekend to enjoy Tynemouth RNLI Station’s Lifeboat Day.
The event, which took place on Sunday at the station in East Fish Quay, included Quay Motorcycle Club’s annual classic motorcycle rally, which attracted around 200 bikes.
There was also a range of stalls, attractions and children’s rides.
The event is expected to have raised more than £5,000 for the lifeboat station. Adrian Don, spokesman for Tynemouth RNLI Lifeboat Station, said: “We’re really grateful to everyone who came and those who gave up their time to help, including the teams from Barclays, Yorkshire Building Society and the Sea Cadets.”
