A care home has been presented with £500 worth of products, following the opening of a new Wilko store on Silverlink Retail Park.

The donation to The Grove Abbeyfield Residential Care Home featured a variety of goods from the home and garden ranges.

Mark Ternent, Wilko Silverlink branch manager, said: “We were delighted to donate products to Abbeyfield Residential Care Home. Supporting our local community is important to us, and the staff work extremely hard to make the residents’ stay as comfortable as possible.

“It is a great feeling to know our donation will make a difference to the members and the staff.”

Volunteer coordinator Claire Murphy-Morgan said: “The team was thrilled to receive this generous donation from Wilko.”
