Libraries planning a summer of activities

A host of summer fun is taking place in libraries around the borough.

North Tyneside Council has arranged a number of events and activities to keep youngsters entertained during the summer holidays.

There will be comedy, magic, art, cartoon workshops, unusual animals and a bear hunt all taking place at the facilities in August.

And the Book Happy organisation is also holding events at Tynemouth, Wideopen and North Shields libraries with their fun-packed story sessions based on holidays and the seaside.

For further information on any of the events email library.events@northtyneside.gov.uk or call into any library.
